SOME, Not All, Lessons Learned to Date

Lesson #1) When storing bales, stack them up off the floor...perhaps on pallets?  Duh.

Photo taken 7.12.10 during a crazy big storm.

Lesson #2) No doors or windows means weather can get in.

This wasn't really a problem, but certainly something to keep in mind.

Lesson #3) Don't start strawbaling like a shotgun blast.  FOCUS.  Build to the ceiling and then move to another spot.  Low walls all around the house leaves the top of the bales exposed.

Lots of partially built walls in this pic!
